This purple Diplomat blouse is a classic early 1970s silhouette. Novaceta was the height of popularity in the late 60s and early 70s, created initially in Italy. The cream contrast piping runs the full length of the collar, around the top portion of the pockets, and matches the cream colored buttons. The buttons are covered fabric down the front. Extra buttons are sewn into the right side of the blouse as a precaution. Please note that there are minor imperfections on the left sleeve; this does not take away from the beauty or wearability of the piece. Perfect blouse for the next great scholar or casual wearer.
