FAQ: Sizing
For online orders, it's important that you understand your measurements as vintage sizing varies considerably. We recommend either having a friend measure your key points of measurement so you know them or use a garment that fits you well as reference.
All measurements referenced are taken while the garment is lying flat, some key points are doubled. Key points of measurement include:
- Shoulders point to point
- Bust (armpit to armpit) double it
- Waist (double it)
- Hips (double it)
- Length (not doubled)
Sometimes we include other points of measure such as leg openings, thigh width, or sleeve length. This is only to help you get a better understanding of how the garment will fit.
We often provide estimates on garments in "alpha sizing" (S, M, L, etc.) but these are estimates only. Please pay close attention to the measurements provided. If there is an item where the measurement hasn't been provided, please feel free to contact us with any questions and we'll do our best to serve you as swiftly as possible.

DENIM:
Vintage denim is unlike modern denim where it rarely has stretch woven in with the cotton. It is recommended buy them a little uncomfortably TIGHT and after a few hours of wear they begin to open up and become super comfortable.
We measure our denim by waist and inseam. That said, every pair is unique.
