Hinge Dalmatian Jasper Thing Stone Ring

Dalmatian Jasper is a calming stone. It helps with reflection and translating ideas into practice. It is also a protective and healing stone that encourages a sense of playfulness. Each ring is made slowly out of larger pieces of stone that takes over a month to carefully hand carve, shape, and refine into this incredible piece of the earth you can wear and treasure. Each piece is hand carved out of natural stone. While they are quite sturdy and have been tumbled and tested in the studio they are still made of stone and have natural fault lines therefore they should not be dropped or knocked against a hard surface.

Each Hinge Designs piece is crafted from raw stone that is hand selected from piles and bins of rough material and evaluated for its color, shape, pattern or texture. It is then slowly refined by Marge using lapidary tools and techniques into pieces of wearable art from the Earth. Everything is hand carved or cut under water with diamond plated burrs and bits to create these beautiful pieces. They then go into a rock tumbler for a week to get the soft matte finish that Marge feels brings out more of the details in each stone.
