Repair Day with High Hand Mending - 11.10.24


Join us and denim whisperer and seamstress extraordinaire Kristen Lombardi from High Hand Mending for our quarterly Repair Day. She will help tackle and bring much needed revitalization and some customization to your loved clothes.

Kristen is a true artist that is a master across fibers. Her way with denim is exquisite, but she is also a tried and true leathersmith and the genius behind MANIMAL - the most bold, and beautiful, handcrafted brand.

Repair Day General Pricing

Simple repairs can come without an appointment but if you have complex repairs or alterations schedule an appointment:

 Services Offered:

    • Waist cross over on oversized denim for perfect fit on oversized jeans!
    • Patching, darning, and offering visible mending or invisible mending
    • Restitching seams, repairing zippers, buttons, etc…
    • Tapering or letting out
    • Replacing zippers
    • Hemming pants & skirts
    • Altering garments
Cost is dependent on work but starts at $10 for simple things - all monies will be between High Hand Mending and you.

Kristen will contact you via email and phone for pick up at our Mass Ave location.

We Thieves can also offer the shipping of items back to you. Fee will be dependent on weight of garment / box size as we get a lot of people who are unable to make it back and frankly we want you to enjoy your clothes and not have the sit for too long in our shop.
