Adorable authentic 60s mod mini little black dress by Marimekko rendered in rich black wool featuring subtle chevron line pattern detailing and a hidden zip with kissing welt at back. Short sleeve construction, fully lined. This piece was originally for sale at the Design Research store in Cambridge, which opened in 1953 and introduced Americans to Marimekko when they started carrying the brand in 1958.
