The Dose: Summer 2024 🌞
The Dose is a seasonal newsletter from Sandra and the crew at We Thieves where we share what we're currently "dosing on" with our subscribers. We wanted to make it more readily available to our friends, followers on the socials, and Thieves far and wide, so we've decided to start adding The Dose to our web blog here. Stay tuned for more...and thanks for dosin' with us! 🖤

Hello friends,
I just got back from a road trip down South - where I unplugged hard. I've spent much less time on my phone and immersed in books and outdoor activity. My family and I went white water rafting, and honestly, it was an absolute BLAST. Highly recommend!
We've been busy sourcing for the store and bringing in the things you are seeking and, of course, the things you aren't. Truth is - as a vintage store - we serve up the gems you weren't looking for - but love, plus a few of the vintage essentials like killer single-stitch T-shirts, vintage denim, and sun dresses.
Check out our round-up of picks and things we love, take in, and are inspired by in and out of the store.

Let's drop in...
1. Adorning - 8.6.4 Woven Brass earrings - handmade in Brooklyn, this dynamic team create some of the most beautiful minimalist and naturalist pieces. Find their collection at Mass Ave or online.
2. Currently coveting - Amy Stein's jewelry and creations at her art gallery Craftwork Somerville on Highland Ave, while you're on Highland Ave - check out Kay McGowan's Curated World store for home treasures.
3. Fat and Moon's lip and cheek stain is a must for the summer. Ultra moisturizing this little tin is a great toss in your bag essential. $20 at both stores.
4. Watching, PBS's 3 part series, Disco The Soundtrack of A Revolution. Reveling in iconic tracks and remarkable footage, this is a powerful, revisionist history of the disco age. From the roots of the Stonewall Uprising, LGBTQ activism, and the underground cultures of NYC you'll lean in hard to the groundswell that led to this movement and the people behind it. 5. Denim restock is IN! We don't list our denim online - because you have to try before buying. We serve up sizes 25 - 40 and denim prices start at $68. Check out our fit guide for tips on shopping anywhere! Available at both stores. 🍑
7-8. Road Trip to Todd Farm Flea Market If you are a vintage or antique lover, this is a must. Get there EARLY, and when you are done, hit up the beach or check out the artist colony in Gloucester. Also we are restocked on our Shroom rolling papers from Field Trip - I mean, if you're gonna flea and visit the beach - roll one up in these. Available at both stores, $14.
8. Listening - Longest Daze, Country Rock, and Reefer Rollers, KEXP's Solstice weekend archive - featuring The Roadhouse with Greg Vandy is perfect for a Sunday drive - the staff is lovin' on this currently in-store.
9. Coveting this tote from local maker and repair maven Megan Kilcoyne at Homme Repair in Bow Market. It will go the distance for all the findings at the Flea. She is a local maker and repair guru in the area. Highly recommend!
