The thousand-acre wood of a a million years ago, fragrant with towering pines, ancient firs, and northern spruces. The scent of crisp evergreens, rounded out by sweet balsam and mossy earth, filtered through a cool forest floor of soft conifer needles. In a change from our usual sun/moon/clouds/water logo The Forest Primeval features a stylized iridescent forest.The name is taken from fellow Mainer Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s 1847 poem, Evangeline.
