Vintage Gucci 1967 Vittori Accornero Funghi Silk Scarf
Beautiful vintage Gucci scarf in 100% silk, originally designed by artist Vittori Accornero who was commissioned by Rodolfo Gucci, grandson of the founder of the luxury fashion brand, and intended as a gift to Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco. Accornero drew inspiration for the pattern from his love for nature and his passion for botanical illustrations. The finished design features a variety of mushrooms represented in true-to-life shades popping up from piles of leaves and plants that have perished with the change of season, coupled with insects to paint a picture of an autumnal garden of life and death. Priced and sold as-is; a few small pulls on bottom left corner and small staining at right corner. Made in Italy.
Composition: 100% silk.
Designer: Gucci
Size: 33" x 33"
Good condition: Minor flaws, some noticeable when worn, but easily overlooked. Structurally sound and wearable.
